Art Therapy and Reflective Drawings

“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary” – Pablo Picasso.

One of our amazingly creative services users, Simon, has been encouraged by his occupational therapist to do reflective drawings and paintings. Simon has an Acquired Brain Injury and has always been interesting in painting and drawing. He uses his talent and passion for art to produce reflective drawings that also help him with his memory.

In the video below Simon gives us an insight into his artwork, which he really enjoys, and touches on how this helps him. He always likes to add plenty of humour to them too!
