Meet Nina, Recruitment and Welfare Officer

At HASCS we have a dedicated Recruitment and Welfare Team. Our in-house team are responsible for the entire recruitment pathway from advertising roles, screening applicants, right through to placement in the care package and beyond. With our support, retention rates rocket, and your core team remains consistent. We know the importance of developing and nurturing our workforce, ensuring our service users are well cared for and in turn the health and social care industry thrives.

“Hi, I’m Nina, one of the Recruitment and Welfare Officers at HASCS. I’ve been part of this fantastic team for about a year and a half, and I love the dynamic nature of my role.

Before joining HASCS, I worked as a teaching assistant for schools catering to children with additional needs and disabilities. This experience was transformative, teaching me the importance of accessible communication and the power of support in overcoming challenges. I learned that limitations are only what we make of them and that with the right support and care, everyone can lead a fulfilling life.

I graduated with a degree in International Relations and Languages, which has been incredibly beneficial in my role, especially in international recruitment. My background helps me connect with diverse candidates and understand their unique needs and aspirations.

I’m also excited to share that I’ll soon be pursuing a master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling. This new chapter will allow me to help even more people, providing them with the support they need to thrive. This opportunity gives my life a lot of meaning, and I can’t wait to integrate these new skills into both my personal and professional life at HASCS.”
