Brain Injury Care Services: Acquired and Traumatic

A brain injury can have many causes, such as a fall, car accident, tumour, or stroke. There are many different types, including Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, and they can lead to a wide range of effects.

You may experience amnesia, behavioural changes and emotion imbalances, difficulty with cognition and memory, with many people suffering acute fatigue. Many of our brain injury clients can take part in exciting activities and life experiences with support from our dedicated Brain Injury specialists.

Living with Brain Injury

Living with a neurological injury can often leave you facing other challenges, with the help of HASCS, we can work alongside you, your case manager, or the wider multidisciplinary team to support maximum rehabilitation goals.

We have knowledge and experience with:

  • Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation.
  • Psychological support for you and your loved ones.
  • Experience of working closely with physiotherapists to reach maximum potential, including hydrotherapy sessions.
  • Continence management to include the changing and ongoing care of indwelling catheters, intermittent catheterisation, and bowel management systems.
  • Medication administration and ongoing management/governance.
  • Bespoke and fully personalised care plan to include travel abroad, work, university needs.
  • Working in partnership with you to live a meaningful life and fulfil your aspirations.

Speak to our care professionals for comprehensive care solutions tailored to your needs

We welcome referrals from case management teams, local authorities, NHS Trusts and integrated care boards, charities as well as directly from the home and family. Upon referral, our team will contact you, where they can talk you through the entire process and guide you through each stage, as well as answering any questions you may have.
