Multi-Sensory Impairment

Our Multi-Sensory Impairment Care Services

“. . . we can help individuals learn to make best use of their sight, hearing and other senses.”

We have vast experience of working with clients suffering from Multi-Sensory Impairment and a team of accomplished experts passionate about the care and service they provide.

Most people with multi-sensory impairment have a combination of hearing and vision impairments. Most will have some vision and hearing; however, there are others who are completely deaf and blind.

Our experience of the world comes through our senses. People with hearing and visual impairments don’t experience the world in the same way as sighted hearing people; their whole knowledge and experience of the world is different. Sight and hearing are often called the distance senses because they give us information about what’s happening all around us.

With the right support, however, we can help individuals learn to make best use of their sight, hearing and other senses, and develop the confidence to be inquisitive and interested in the world around them.

Our service delivery is transparent to clients, families, associated healthcare professionals and commissioners. We fully embrace the use of information technology and have systems in place that allows all appropriate parties to have access to real time care delivery information.

We have vast experience with clients suffering from Multi-Sensory Impairment and a team of accomplished and passionate experts.

Please contact us to discuss any aspect of the care we provide for those living with Multi-Sensory Impairment. Our friendly team is always ready to help with any enquiry.

What is Multi-Sensory Impairment?

Multi-Sensory Impairment is the impairment of both sight and hearing. There is no single or main cause of MSI. Most will have some vision and hearing; however, there are some who are completely deaf and blind.
