Our service user is an easy-going gentleman who loves a laugh and engaging with his care team. His hobbies include listening to music, gaming and Dodger, his dog! With the support of a loyal and supportive care team, he would love to get back into fishing, a fulfilling pastime of his. Regular routine is paramount for our service user, as well as frequent contact with his family.
No experience is necessary for this role, full training will be provided. However, if you live outside of Bridport, you must be a driver.

Role Responsibilities
As a healthcare assistant in this package of care you will:
- Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
- Deliver person-centered care according to bespoke care plans.
- Promote independence and respect each service users spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
- Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.
Clinical Skills
Please note that whilst experience in these areas are desirable, we will provide service user specific training.
- Catheter Care.
- Client is wheelchair dependent and requires moving and handling.
- Supporting with medication administration.
- Providing companionship.
- Personal Care
- Spinal Cord Injury Care.
- Supporting with daily activities.

Pay Rates
- £14.50/hour during weekdays day shifts (Monday-Fridays)
- £15.00/hour during weekday night shifts
- £15.00/hour during weekend day shifts
- £16.00/hour during weekend night shifts
- £22.00/hour during all day Bank holidays
- £9.00/hour Sleeping Nights
Working Pattern
- Full time – Varied Shifts – 36-48 hrs a week.
- Day Shift: 08:00am – 08:00pm
- Night Shift: 08:00pm – 08:00am
